Technique For Visual

1. Dip the test strip briefly (no longer than 1 second) into the urine up to the last patch.

2. Wipe off excess urine on the rim of the vessel. The best way for preventing glucose test portion from run-over phenomenon of pH is to wipe off urine with an absorbent paper.

Lightly touch the edge of one side of the test strip on an absorbent paper.

3. read test result carefully at 60 seconds, in a good light and with the test area held near the appropriate color chart on the bottle label.

Changes in color that appear only along the edge of the test patches or after more than 2 minutes have passed are of no diagnostic significance. Leucocytes test portion can be read at 120 seconds.
