Just like the baths themselves, the test tube racks are made of high - grade corrosion resistant stainless steel (grade 1.4301), electro polished and passivated. The baths  with gable cover and the racks are so designed that the handles are thermally de-coupled and do not become hot. The shape of the gable cover ensures that condensing water does not drip into the reagent tubes.
