Gerber Instruments, is a privately owned company, with its Head office based in Effretikon (Zurich Area)/Switzerland and sales and distribution networks across Europe, Middle East, Asia and USA.

Founded in 1892 by Dr. Niklaus Gerber the firm evolved to a successful company with a foreign agent network.

Gerber Instruments was taken over in May 2009, as a Management Buy-Out, by Mr. Remo Schweizer, with a seamless transition of marketplace knowledge, personnel and product lines, ensuring a continued supply to clients and partners in Switzerland and around the globe.

The product portfolio encompasses high-end milk testing and an extensive range of general laboratory equipment, supplied to a client base that spans universities, institutes and businesses of all sizes engaged in the supply of food and beverage, life science, pharmaceutical, clinical, water and industrial products. The long-time success with these groups underscores the ability to provide customer support to laboratories across a wide range of industries.
